Year 3
Welcome to Year 3!
In Year 3, the class teachers are Miss Jordan and Miss Dawson. The teaching assistants in Year 3 are Miss Moore and Mrs Hall.
Welcome back to school!
This half term, we will be looking at shape, addition and subtraction, and fractions maths. In English, we are looking at King Arthur and the Knights of the round table.
Our science topic is Light and dark. In RE we are continuing to look at the Pentecost.
In Geography, we are thinking about how the Anglo Saxons changed our country.
PE is on Thursday in 3 Blue and Wednesday in 3 Green. As for the moment, children will just be changing into their pumps.
Reading books will be handed out on a Thursday every week and must be returned to school the following Monday. This is to ensure the books can be quarantined for the correct period of time before they are sent out again. Please ensure your child brings their reading books to school every Monday.
Homework is completed online via Mathletics and Spelling Shed. It is set on a Friday and is to be completed by the following Wednesday.
