Our Care Club, provides both breakfast and after school care, serves  breakfast and after school snack and offers both indoor and outdoor activities and fun.




Where are you located?

Both Breakfast and After School Club are located on school grounds. 

Breakfast Club is located in the small hall (next to the school office).

After School Club is located in the Bungalow, near the top of the drive.

What hours are you open and how much does it cost?

Breakfast Club: 7:00am-8:30am Price: £4.50 including breakfast - breakfast is served until 8:10am

After School Club: 3:00pm-6:00pm Price: £8 including a snack - a fee will be charged for late collection


Who can attend?

All children who attend Clayton St. John C of E Primary school are welcome, however spaces are limited and are allocated on a first-come first-serve basis.

We can only accept a limited number of Nursery and Reception children - spaces currently available for September 2024 starters.


How do I book?

As of October 2023, we are now using ParentPay to book and pay for Care Club sessions.

If you would like to book your child on to a session, you must contact Amy (Play Leader) at:  before you are able to access this. Please email your child's name, class and whether you plan to use childcare vouchers towards your payment.


Bookings close at 6pm the evening before the session. (Example: If you wanted to book Monday After school Club, you would need to book it before 6pm on Sunday)

If you have booked Care Club in the past, using the old Kids Club HQ system, you will still need to contact Amy. 



Do I have to pay for the session straight away?

Yes, when you book the sessions, you will be asked to pay for these sessions. You will have 15 minutes to pay, otherwise your booking is not valid. This does not apply to families who use vouchers to contribute to their payments.


Can I use Childcare Vouchers, if so how does it work?

Yes, we accept most childcare vouchers (National Savings, Eden Red, Computer Share etc.). Those families who use vouchers will be given priority access to the sessions, where you do not have to pay the cost upfront. You will be able to go into 'debt' on your account. Once you have booked the sessions you need, you need to contact your voucher provider with the amount. They will then contact us so that we can clear this 'debt' off of your account. Anyone not using vouchers will not be able to go into 'debt' on their account.


Can I cancel the session if I no longer require the care?

Yes, this can be done on your ParentPay account as long as you are cancelling with over 24 hours notice.

Please note that if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice by telephone or email, we will not be able to offer the space to another child, therefore this would be non-refundable.  


What if I haven't booked, and I can't collect my child  from school on time?

If something crops up e.g you're stuck at an appointment and you need your child to attend Care Club, please ring the school office who will advise whether there is a space on that day. If there is, your child will be able to attend and your account will be charged. We ask that emergency bookings are paid ASAP to ensure we can accept you in the future.
