We are learning to ask questions and find out more information. Can you think of any questions you might want to ask the bear about his adventures? You might want to start your question with why, where, who, how.

Making a rocket

Can you find some recycling materials and make your own rocket? Mrs Williams made one out of an old plastic bottle and silver foil but you could use anything you want to do yours with! Maybe you could take a photograph of it and email it to nursery@claytonce.bradford.sch.uk

This week we are learning to count objects. Use your pointy finger to count these pictures. Tell your grown up how many you count.

Look at these with a grown up. Say what they are and see if you can say the beginning sound. See if your grown up can help you find the letter to match it!

Draw a picture of you going on a space adventure. You might draw a super rocket with you inside looking out of the window.
Can you practice writing your name? If you find it hard to copy the letters in your name then you could concentrate on just one letter. We are hoping when you are back you will begin to write your name on your pictures so we know who to hand them out to at home time.

Remember to do lots of playing. Maybe you could create a story with your toys e.g. Oh no someone needs saving as they have fallen on the train track! What ideas could you create?
