Can you think of your favourite book or TV programme? Imagine you are a character from that programme or book and write a short story about something that happens to you. Try to think of a new adventure your character could go on, rather than using one you already know about.

- Full stops and capital letters

- Fronted Adverbials

- Speech (using inverted commas)

- Expanded noun phrases

- Complex sentences
