Put them in front of you - how many do you have?

Move them around (shuffle) in front of you with your hands - how many are there now?

Put them in a row - have you still got 4?

(Grown-ups - we are encouraging your child to understand that if we have 4 objects and they are moved around they still have 4 and the number doesn't change.)
