This week we are taking a virtual trip to ‘Chester Zoo’! Have you ever been to a zoo before? Maybe you have been to Chester!
Did you know Chester Zoo was opened in 1931 by George Mottershead and his family, and it’s been there ever since (even through World War 2!). There are around 15,000 animals at Chester zoo representing 400 species.
If we were to go on a trip, we would probably arrive mid-morning, just in time for brunch with the giraffes. Watch the video below to see the giraffes enjoying their food!
Follow the link below to watch the live stream from Chester Zoo – you can choose from a range of animals to watch and see what they get up to when no visitors are around. Be warned though, it is addictive and you could end up watching for hours!
We have planned some activities for you this week, all around Chester Zoo. Click on the folders below to discover the tasks. Keep sharing your learning with us on the blog – we hope you enjoy the tasks!
