Yesterday we looked at ml (millilitres)

Today we are looking at litres. What do we buy in litres?

Can you find some containers / bottles in your house that say how many litres they hold?

Can you find a 1 litre bottle?  Is this bigger / smaller than 1ml?

A fizzy pop bottle generally holds 2 litres of pop.

This is a bigger measurement than ml.

2 ml would be smaller than a teaspoon.

Try these problems that use litres as a measurement.  Remember to read the questions carefully.
