Task

Today we are going to focus on using parenthesis in your writing. Remember parenthesis is a word or a phrase put into a sentence to give it more information. Parenthesis can be punctuated with either brackets, dashes or commas. It can be used to: explain what a difficult word means; show someone’s thoughts; add extra information to help the reader or emphasise a point. Look at the image from Monday (Superman’s Dilemma). Can you write a paragraph explaining what his dilemma is using parenthesis to add extra information?
