Scavenger hunt

‘Scavenger hunt’ Riddle writing:

Easter is notorious for ‘Easter egg hunts’ amongst families. I would like you to try and create your own clues to objects that you have hidden around the house by writing riddles. Don’t worry if you do not have an eggs this could work with absolutely anything in your house. I might hide the television remote haha! I have attached some examples of riddles that you may use and below you will find sentences starters to help below.

To write your own riddles remember:

  • Don’t give away the answer by using the exact word in your riddle.
  • Try not to use more than 5 or 6 lines, because a riddle should be easy to remember.
  • It doesn’t have to rhyme, but it can if you like.
