Reception Early Learning Goals... What we are working towards.

Hi Reception,

We hope you are all well. We understand you will be having a very different learning time at home, it feels strange for us too. We are sure your parents/ guardians have talked to you about what is happening in the world right now and we don’t want you to worry. You will see on our website lots of ideas and activities that will help keep you busy and continue your learning. We will keep adding new ideas of things you can do at home. If you have any questions, ideas you want to share or exciting things you want to tell us about please use the link on our website page and we will be sure to respond to you. Hope to see you all soon.

Accessing our class blog...

Click on the heading that says blogging in the drop down menu under children. Then Click on a blog title, it will expand and open a dialogue box. If you put a comment and finish it with your name then the grown up will be able to see it. Once it is approved it will show up on the blog. Looking forward to seeing comments on there.

Blue and Green Classes

Welcome to Reception!

Do you have any ideas for this page? Why not let your Teacher know!

First we would like to take the opportunity in welcoming you into Reception and thank you for all the support that you have given us so far in helping your child to settle.

We understand that your child coming into Reception can be a worrying time for parents but we can assure you that all children are happy and settled throughout the day. However, please feel free to speak to a member of the Early Years Team if you should have any concerns or individual worries.

We look forward to welcoming you into our classroom to share the children’s learning at our stay and play sessions, come and read, phonics for parents and more formal parent meetings. You can find key dates for these sessions on our newsletter.

Thank you

We enjoyed celebrating world book day by dressing up as our favourite characters and sharing some of our favourite books. Our theme was 'Teddy bears Picnic' and so we had our own picnic with our special teddies. We ended the day by sharing stories with our parents.
