Pie Charts with Percentages
Yesterday we focussed on fluency questions all about percentages and pie charts. Today you are going to apply your new knowledge to reasoning and problem solving questions.
Let’s try a reasoning question together – there are two parts which you need to answer. First, focus on what information we can tell (hint – look at the percentages). Then think about what it does not tell you (hint – would you be able to work out the number of children?). Once you have an answer, click on the answer link to see if you are correct.
Answer the questions on your group’s sheet below. All the questions today are reasoning and problem solving based on ‘Pie Charts with Percentages’. If you need any help then you can ask on the blog.
I will upload the answers later today for you to mark your work.
