Read and Interpret Pie Charts.

We are going to continue with yesterday’s learning about Pie Charts today. Let’s recap first by answering these 2 fluency questions

Today you are going to focus on fluency and problem solving. Look at the example question below and have a go.

First of all find the number of children on a scooter as a fraction (Numerator = how many children go by scooter, denominator = how many children altogether). Simplify this down. Now find this fraction of 600 and see if it equals 1000.

Answer the questions on your group’s sheet below. All the questions are on reading and interpreting pie charts. If you need any help then you can ask on the blog.

I will upload the answers later today for you to mark your work.
