Maths

Working on our shape skills from this week, use the quiz below to look at 2 different shapes.

You are looking to see:

  • which shape has more or less sides.
  • which shape has more or less corners.

Read the question and and pick the correct shape.

Then we are going to look at making patterns with different shapes.

Use the start of the pattern below to see if you can work out what comes next. The patterns should be repeated.

Topic

We are going to carry on thinking about our homes and ourselves.

On Tuesday, we thought about ourselves and what we looked like.

Today, we are going to think about our family.

Who are we?

Who do we live with?

Who is our family that lives in another house?

Use the family tree document to help you (or you can make your own) - you might need to add on some circles or there may be too many.

Complete the family tree to show who is in your family.

You might want to add people like:

  • Mum
  • Dad
  • Brother
  • Sister
  • Grandma
  • Grandad
  • Cousins
  • Auntie
  • Uncle
