Executive Head's Blog
Dear Parents and Carers
We want to thank you for your support with our remote learning arrangements; we really appreciate how challenging it is to do home-learning - especially if you have more than one child at home.
Our teachers are providing videoed lessons for home-learners each day. They are continuing to deliver lessons to the school-learners as usual. You will appreciate that this has added significantly to their daily workload.
We are making arrangements to maximise the time teachers have to teach, plan and prepare lessons for school and home-learners. We also want to answer your calls and emails to provide you with the support you need to support your child's progress.
Going forward, there will be a member of our support staff team assigned to make phone calls during the school day. We will be making contact if children have not sent in their work or have not logged into the live sessions. Support staff will also try to return calls to provide support with accessing remote learning.
Teachers will answer emails and make telephone calls from 3pm until 4pm each week day; they will attempt to make contact within 48 hours of an enquiry. Please be patient if you do not get an immediate response.
Thank you
Elizabeth Lawley
