Remember to use coordinating conjunctions (for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so) in the middle of 2 simple sentences.
e.g. The snake whispered in the mans ear yet he didn't wake up.
Use subordinating conjunctions to join two clauses with in the middle or at the beginning with a comma in the correct place.
e.g. Although he was sleeping, he could still hear what the animals were saying.
