Complete the BBC Bitesize lesson on fronted adverbials.

Once you have completed the lesson, look at the notes you completed last week about your chosen animal.

Choose a note and write it into a sentence. Then add a fronted adverbial to your sentence. Write 5 different sentences about your animal starting each one with a fronted adverbial. Try to use different types of fronted adverbials, where, when, how. Remember to use a comma after your fronted adverbial.

Success Criteria

Choose a note.

Write the note into the sentence.

Add a fronted adverbial with a comma to each sentence.

Use different types of fronted adverbials: when, where, how.

Read your sentences to check they make sense and you have punctuated them correctly.
